Activation of our parks and open space to provide more opportunities for our community to get out and be more active and engaged is an important aspect of promoting Albury’s liveability.

EOI - Mobile Food Vendors (Riverside)

We have designated public spaces [9.11 MB | PDF] in high profile areas where commercial operators can set-up mobile food and drink vending, personal training and canoeing.

These designated spaces include our Riverside Precinct, Wonga Wetlands and Kremur Street Boat Ramp. Due to existing lease agreements, operators wanting to set-up mobile food and drink vending activities in our Riverside Precinct will be assessed on a case by case basis.

Activities proposed within these designated public spaces are undertaken as part of the Commercial Activities on Public Land policy:

Sporting ground signage

Signs play an important role at sporting grounds. They provide information, identify businesses and products and also provide a source of income for a sporting club.

Sport and recreation

We are committed to working with sporting clubs and active recreation groups to build a community of healthy and active residents with access to quality facilities and activities run by skilled and capable people.

Support and resources

We provide a variety of essential services and support for businesses in our region.

Parks and public spaces

Explore Albury's parks, gardens, playgrounds and outdoor spaces for recreation, relaxation and community events.

Public address

To busk, undertake a public collection, promote a product or make a public address, you will need approval.

Outdoor dining, street trading and advertising

Get permission to use public land as an outdoor dining area, a free-standing advertising space or to display products.
