Orana Community Centre Inc

Overview

Orana Community Centre welcomes people from all backgrounds and ages to enjoy our beautiful facilities and variety of services. Our aim is to connect people to their community through social, educational and support activities. We aim to provide low-cost activities for people of all interests and abilities.

The Centre is a Council owned facility that is independently operated by a Board of Management. A Coordinator is employed to run the Centre and programs.

Orana offer a range of activities including:

• Supported Playgroup
• Sewing, patchwork and craft activities
• Social groups
• Tax Help
• Assistance with computers and other electronic devices

Services and support

• Referral to other services
• Emergency Food Relief for people experiencing financial stress
• Computer access

Spaces available for hire

Orana Community Centre only provides room hire to community groups for meetings and educational purposes. We do not hire for private functions or private educational/therapeutic classes.

We have an activities room which can hold up to 12 people comfortably. The room is equipped with a projector and screen, computer access as well as activities tables and sewing machines. The centre also has a Playgroup area which can accommodate small groups of up to 10 adults.
