Lavington Sports Ground - Concourse Upgrade
The bitumen on the Lavington Sports Ground concourse has deteriorated and needs replacement to ensure pedestrian safety and improve accessibility.
Complete
The aging bitumen surface on the concourse has broken up and become unsafe. In addition, increased event activity has meant that a more robust surface is required to allow heavy vehicle access.
The concourse project will mean that it:
- is safer for pedestrians;
- increases accessibility to the southern tiered seating area; and
- can accommodate heavy vehicles used for event setup and pack down.
