Temporary Vehicle Access to a Park or Reserve Application

Our parks, reserves and bushland play a significant role in the well-being of our community. They provide recreation opportunities, biodiversity benefits and create a sense of identity and place. They also need to be protected from damage so they can be enjoyed in the future.

Residents living in properties adjoining public parks, reserves and bushland areas can access the rear of their properties with vehicles with the appropriate approval. While most residents have done so with minimal impact to the surrounding environment, there has been several cases where vehicle access through public land has caused damage to the adjacent areas.

To ensure we can monitor all access to parks, reserves and bushland adjoining private residence, Council requires you to complete a 'temporary access application form' if you need to drive vehicles through public land to access your property for works.

AlburyCity does not provide permanent keys to access public land by private residents.

Access for an Event or Activity

If your temporary access to parks, reserves and bushland is to conduct an activity or event, then you will be required to complete an Event Permit Application.

OUR
ACKNOWLEDGMENT

AlburyCity acknowledges the Wiradjuri people as the traditional custodians of the land in which we live and work and we pay our respects to Elders past, present and future for they hold the memories, culture, tradition and hopes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people that contribute to our community.
