The Albury Wodonga region has a rich and diverse cultural heritage spanning thousands of years.

The LibraryMuseum has resources for researching local and family history. These include books, reports and environmental studies, maps and architectural plans, local newspapers, pamphlets, oral histories, journals and newsletters.

The LibraryMuseum's Family History Collection includes a wide range of microfilm records, microfiche and CD indexes of births, death and marriage records, as well as books and journals.

The LibraryMuseum also provides access to the Archives Resource Kit from NSW State Records which is a special collection of early NSW records made up of microfilm and microfiche resources. These materials are not available for loan, but you can use them at the library.

The Writing Home: WWI Letters of Frank Brown eResource is designed for students and teachers studying WWI. The resource contains extracts from letters written by Captain Lew Hewish during World War One to his friend, Frank Brown. Both men were from Albury and the letters offer a fascinating insight into the battle and home front experiences of men from the Albury region during this period. The resource includes recorded and transcribed extracts plus extended transcripts of full letters for study and research. The resource also includes suggested activities based on the letters for classroom use.
