Collection Cases

An outreach program for schools and community groups designed to stimulate learning, memories and conversations.

Filled with an engaging collection of objects, images and texts, our Collection Cases explore the social and cultural history of Albury. Reflecting the themes of the LibraryMuseum’s permanent exhibition, Bungambrawatha: Stories of Albury, our Collection Cases provide an opportunity to experience history first-hand.

With links to the syllabus, our Collection Cases offer a range of object-based learning experiences across the History curriculum. Students can encounter First Nations items, explore life in the past and investigate just how much Albury has changed.

Designed to spark discussion, reflection and the sharing of memories, our Collection Cases are also perfect for community groups and aged-care facilities.

OUR
ACKNOWLEDGMENT

AlburyCity acknowledges the Wiradjuri people as the traditional custodians of the land in which we live and work and we pay our respects to Elders past, present and future for they hold the memories, culture, tradition and hopes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people that contribute to our community.
