AlburyCity to host vibrant Mother’s Day Market at Hovell Tree Park

AlburyCity’s popular market series returns with a special Mother’s Day celebration, transforming Hovell Tree Park into a vibrant riverside destination for shopping, live entertainment, food and family fun on Sunday 10 May, from 10am to 2pm.

06 May 2026

The Mother’s Day Market offers the perfect opportunity to celebrate Mum, Grandma or any special woman in your life with a relaxed day out by the Murray River.

Visitors can browse a diverse range of market stalls, enjoy delicious street food and refreshments from Vinbar, with wine, beer and cocktails available. Live music from Shell Britt will provide the soundtrack, while a variety of activities and performances will keep all ages entertained.

Creative visitors can take part in a hands-on workshop with Felicite Grogan, featuring a relaxed, drop-in collage session where participants can craft a unique handmade Mother’s Day card using provided materials.

Family-friendly entertainment will include pony rides, face painting, lawn games, Gilly’s inflatable games, and three open-air performances by Circus McCabe, showcasing juggling, clown comedy, fire eating and magic.

Albury Mayor Kevin Mack said the Mother’s Day Market is a wonderful way for the community to come together and celebrate.

“Our market events create a vibrant, welcoming space for families and friends to connect while supporting local businesses and enjoying everything our city has to offer,” Mayor Mack said.

“This special Mother’s Day edition is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the important women in our lives while enjoying a relaxed day by the Murray River.”

The Mother's Day Market is proudly brought to our community by AlburyCity in conjunction with Ultimate Events.
