Now in its fourth season, the award-winning experience has reimagined the gardens as an underwater world, where glowing trails, curious sea creatures and mysterious holograms guide visitors on a journey to unlock a long-lost treasure.

Now running nightly until Sunday 27 July, this year’s show invites people of all ages to dive into an imaginative, interactive world where storytelling, technology and nature come together in a captivating sensory experience.

Highlights include:

  • A new ocean-inspired storyline bringing the coast to the country
  • Light projections and holograms inspired by the mysteries of the deep
  • Interactive sea creatures and light-reactive spheres that respond to touch
  • Bioluminescent effects triggered by guests’ movement
  • A dreamlike ocean garden filled with floating, glowing marine life

Angela Davis, Art Director at Laservision, said the gardens have been transformed into a kaleidoscope of colour.

“‘For the next few weeks, the Gardens will come alive at night with vibrant colours and an underwater theme that’s hard to miss. It’s a different kind of Aurora experience this year with more playful, immersive and interactive storytelling. There’s definitely something new for returning visitors!”

Albury Mayor Kevin Mack said Aurora has fast become a winter favourite.

“It’s exciting to see the community connect with the botanic gardens in such a creative way. Events like this don’t just brighten up the city – they bring us together and invite people from all over to discover what makes Albury special.”

Tickets to Aurora are selling now, with organisers encouraging families to book early. Prices start at $10 for children, $15 for adults and $40 for families (2 adults + 2 children). Infants under two attend free.
