With just a few clicks, you can dive into riverside adventures, uncover hidden gems, map out your perfect cycle route, or discover where locals go for the best coffee. The revamped site visitalburywodonga.com puts it all at your fingertips, from inspiring itineraries to the latest events.
“The website is more user-friendly, faster and full of travel inspiration,” Suzy Watson, AlburyCity Team Leader Visitor Economy and Experience explained. “You’ll still find all the visitor information you need, and now with even more ways to create your perfect trip.”
The easy-to-use Trip Planner lets you save your favourite spots, from restaurants and markets to walking trails and museums, and share them with friends and family. The new-look What’s On calendar keeps you in the loop with the latest events.
Albury Wodonga’s prime location between Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney, combined with city-style amenities and a relaxed lifestyle, makes it a leading regional business events destination. The website’s new search tools allow conference organisers to find the perfect venue with ease.
“With a wide range of venues, unique natural spaces, and fresh local food and wine, Albury Wodonga offers everything for conferences, workshops and trade shows,” said Albury Mayor Kevin Mack.
“With 60+ accommodation providers offering 4,000+ beds, direct flights from major cities, 100+ restaurants and cafes, and a 600+-delegate capacity, Albury Wodonga is well equipped for your event,” added Suzy Watson.
Wodonga Mayor Michael Gobel said the website reinforces both Wodonga Council and AlburyCity’s commitment to establishing the region as an important destination in Australia’s broader tourism market.
“The new website is more than just an update, it’s an investment in our local economy,” said Mayor Gobel.
“By making it simpler for people to plan their visit, we’re removing barriers and opening the door to more overnight stays, more spending in local businesses and more opportunities for visitors to experience what makes Albury Wodonga such a fantastic place.”
