Youth Expo 2026 to bring music, creativity and opportunity to Albury

Young people and families across the Albury Local Government Area are invited to connect, explore and get involved at the Youth Expo 2026, taking place on Saturday 18 April at QEII Square.

14 Apr 2026

Running from 11am to 2:30pm, this free community event is designed for young people aged 12–24 and their families, offering a vibrant showcase of local opportunities in sport, recreation, creativity and wellbeing.

The Youth Expo, previously known as WellFest, aims to make it easier for young people to discover what’s available in their community and connect directly with local clubs, services and organisations.

The AlburyCity Youth Council helped secure funding for the event, supported the planning and will volunteer on the day.

Albury Mayor Kevin Mack said the Youth Expo is an important initiative for strengthening connections between young people and their community.

“Youth Expo 2026 is a fantastic opportunity for young people to discover what’s available right here in Albury. From creative pursuits to sporting clubs and support services, this event brings everything together in one place,” Mayor Mack said.

“We know when young people feel connected and supported, they are more likely to thrive. Events like this help build confidence, encourage participation and create a stronger, more inclusive community.”

Attendees can enjoy live music performances from Livy B, DroMack and Shelby-Rose Beaston, alongside hosting and DJ sets by Steve Bowen. The event will also feature exciting performances from the Flying Fruit Fly Circus.

Visitors can explore a range of interactive stalls hosted by local organisations and services, as well as a young creator's market showcasing local talent. Food will be available for purchase on the day. There’s also a free BBQ and ice cream for attendees to enjoy.

The event is proudly supported by AlburyCity, the Rotary Club of Albury Wodonga Sunrise and the NSW Office for Youth.
