Endeavour Park

Located in North Albury, this small park has play equipment, skate/scooter elements, basketball area and kick around area with rugby goals.

This North Albury park has recently been upgraded through NSW Government grant program funding. The fresh feel facility now has an upgraded play area including:

  • Upgrade of play area including an all access basket swing
  • Installation of shade over the play area
  • Improve pathways through the park
  • Inclusion of skate/scooter elements
  • Improve the existing basketball court
  • Tree planting
  • Additional seating and wheelchair friendly picnic tables

History - The park is named in recognition of Captain James Cook's first voyage  ship HMB Endeavour (1768 - 1771). Some of the surround streets are named to recognise crew from that voyage (Captain Cook, Banks , Hicks, Solander while Kurnell Peninsula (Inscription Pointis where Captain Cook landed for the first time on Australian soil in 1770.
