A soccer ground and Active Space in South Albury.
Waites Park is home to a soccer ground and the new South Albury Active Space.
The South Albury Active Space project was one of the primary actions from the Outdoor Basketball Court Strategy 2017-2021. The area has a wide range of activities, suitable for community members of all ages.
Features of the new Active Space include:
- Upgraded beach volleyball courts, pathways and perimeter fencing
- Outdoor basketball court
- Skate/scooter elements
- "Hit Up" wall
- Fitness zone
- Shelter, fencing pathways and seating
- Water bottle filling station/drinking fountain
