Filming

Albury offers a wide variety of scenic backdrops for filming whether it be for television, television commercials, online videos, documentaries and even feature films.

To film or record images in a public place for exhibition or broadcast you are required to familiarise yourself with the following our policies and guidelines.

Drones

The flying of drones and other remotely piloted aircraft in Australia is regulated by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) through the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations Part 101.

You must not fly a drone in a way that causes a hazard to another aircraft, person or property. The CASA rules must be followed every time a drone is flown.

Please contact the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) for more information on the requirements for filming using a drone.

Activities in parks and reserves

We have public spaces where commercial operators can set-up mobile food and drink vending, personal training and canoeing.

Public address

To busk, undertake a public collection, promote a product or make a public address, you will need approval.
