Bird Box Beginings

The title of this mural came from an idea when first visiting the location. There was local bird life jumping and flying around in the greenery around the area.

Although on a busy main street, the back of the building and around the sides there is very little foot traffic and the wild life is living happily. The building is shaped like a box so the name just developed like that - they went hand in hand. Hopefully it also means the beginning of many more artworks in and around the Lavington area.

About Kade Fielder (Kade Sarte)

image

Kade is an Albury/ Wodonga local who specialises in large-scale murals with brush and spray can. Kade is a Lavington Lad who has spent most of his life in the area, leaving only once to live in Queensland for a short time while honing his painting skills. Although he has been painting on and off for 12 years, his interest developed seriously in 2017 when me moved back to Albury. Work began to grow around town and eventually this progressed into travelling around the outer regions of our area. Now Kade spends his time working for himself, creating art throughout the area; whether it be a large government commission or murals on kids bedroom walls, he paints it all.
