From First Nations Wiradjuri people who cared for the land pre and post colonialization and the farmer of today who works in regeneration and landcare this mural is for the land and its carers.

About Chris Henderson (SiRHC)

image

Chris Henderson aka SIRHC (Chris spelt backwards) grew up in the tiny town of Eldorado in the north east of Victoria where he developed his deep love and passion for wildlife. Sirhc attended the local high school then onto TAFE to study graphic design in Wangaratta. After that he moved to Melbourne to kick start his art career. In Melbourne he was able to experiment and develop his style into something totally unique. A style that is very Australian but exciting, bright and bold. A style that holds its own amongst the Australian emerging contemporary art scene. SiRHC's deep fascination for Australian wildlife and the weird shapes created in the human form has contributed greatly to his process and inspiration.
