During 2021, in partnership with the NSW Police we have been working on expanding our Public CCTV system into Lavington.

The bitumen on the Lavington Sports Ground concourse has deteriorated and needs replacement to ensure pedestrian safety and improve accessibility.

This major redevelopment will transform the Lavington Sports Ground into one of regional Australia's premier sporting facilities, capable of hosting local, regional, state and national carnivals, community sport and other events.

The construction of a new sports pavilion that meets the participation demands and sporting clubs needs.

Extensive landscaping works are now complete which are part of a long-term plan to upgrade and beautify Monument Hill.

This project will meet the request of Thurgoona residents for a new place for children to play at Murray Park Estate.

The Murray River Experience Master Plan (MRE) remains a cornerstone in the strategic development of open spaces along the Murray River and Lake Hume within the Albury Local Government Area. Originating from a community-driven vision in 2007, this comprehensive plan has continually shaped the city’s connection with its natural surroundings.

We’re planning a major investigation into how tracks and trails on Nail Can Hill can be improved and maintained over coming years.
